MOTHER AND CHILD NUTRITION PROGRAM – Kontum, Vietnam
$25.00
Kontum is a diocese in the Central Highlands, near the borders of Laos and Cambodia. The majority of the population is ethnic Bahnar, who live in remote areas. We are called to serve these people, in five villages. Women and children suffer from malnutrition due to poverty, food insecurity, and lack of access to essential nutrients like protein, calcium, and vitamins. These issues lead to long-term health problems such as stunted growth, weakened immunity, anaemia, and complications during pregnancy. This project is aimed at providing milk and nutritious food to children and women living in poverty to improve their health and help them live with dignity.
