End malnourishment – SENEGAL

$50.00

Ndondol is one of the poorest areas of Senegal, and its people live in a semi-arid zone, relying on agriculture and on rains that normally come for only about three months of the year. The main foods are millet, beans and groundnuts. After the harvest, there is little work, and some people go to the towns in search of a job. After women, children are the most neglected group. Due to poverty and lack of food, most of them are undernourished and can easily fall ill. Through your gift, we hope to reach as many undernourished children as possible and offer them better health by providing a nutritious flour made from local ingredients such as beans, millet, maize and groundnuts.
